Other Activities

More information will be provided when it is available.

There are plans for a food symposium in September at Wyck in Germantown, Pennsylvania. William Woys Weaver will be speaking, as will Clarissa.

A dairying workshop on milk, cream, butter, and cheese is being organized for September. This workshop is to be part of the ALHFAM Farm School program; proposed site is the Frontier Culture Museum in Staunton, Virginia.

Clarissa will be "playing in the dirt" at the 1696 Thomas Massey House in Broomall, Pennsylvania. A consortium of historic gardeners at various historic sites has been formed. Clarissa is involved as a "gardener for use" and has processed things like pickled radish pods, fricassee of skirrets, and turnip wine with plants from this garden.
